Denise resides on Hawai’i Island in the town of Kailua Kona. She has been practicing Acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine since 1992. She has a Master’s in Acupuncture and is nationally certified as a Diplomate in Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Denice has served as an instructor for 5 years at the Traditional Chinese College of Hawai‘i teaching Clinical Acupuncture and Moxibustion, Traditional Diagnosis & Pathology and Chinese Pharmacology I & II. She is also certified in Japanese Meridian Therapy, Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture, Constitutional Facial Acupuncture, Advanced Chinese Pharmacology, Kinesiology, Neurolink, Wisdom of the Body, BodyTalk, Sho-Ni-Shin (needle-free pediatric acupuncture technique) and Matrix Energetics Training. Added to her accolades is a Master’s Level in Reiki also known as a “Reiki Master” practitioner in the Usui Shiki Ryoho tradition. A resident of Hawaii island since 2004, Dr. Jen began her studies of both Eastern and Western approaches to health and wellness in San Francisco and was drawn to Chinese Medicine as a pathway to deliver genuine holistic care—treating each patient as a unique individual with distinct needs and goals.  With a doctorate thesis focused on managing stress through acupuncture and integrative medicine, her comprehensive approach considers physical, emotional, and energetic health. Patients experience relief from their pain and symptoms while receiving the soothing, deeply therapeutic treatments Dr. Jen is known for. 
 
Certified and skilled in a multitude of healing modalities—such as Chi Nei Tsang (CNT), Tui Na, Reflexology, Qi Gong, and BodyMind Clearing— she incorporates these into treatments. Services may also include moxa, cupping, gua sha, facial rejuvenation, microneedling, herbal and nutritional medicine, microcurrent or scar release therapies.
