Ocean Life Explorer IKids will enjoy a day getting up close and personal with the Hualalai Resort's anchialine ponds and tidepools while discovering the unique ecosystem and life within them. We will ask questions and seek answers together, just as real marine scientists would do! Beginning with fish and eagle ray feeding at the King's Pond, then continuing the exploration of coastal tidepools and inshore reefs, and ending with collecting organisms for the touch tank. Ages 7 to 12.
Ocean Life Explorer IICome be a marine scientist for a day while exploring the tidepools and coastal areas. As marine scientists, you will explore the what's and why's of fish and invertebrate adaptations and ecological niches by diving a little deeper into the marine realm. The Natural Resources Department needs your help retrieving data from the field. Ages 13-16.
