Educational Outreach

Conservation Mission

In the Spirit of Aloha, we will provide the highest level of professional care for the Natural Resources of Ka‘ūpūlehu, while always striving to enrich the depth of experience for people who visit, live, and work at our Resort and in our Community.

Educational Outreach Mission Statement

Using our facilities and interactive educational programming, we strive to assist with expanding or enhancing marine and environmental knowledge within all schools, community organizations, and individuals.

Goals For The Program

1) Assist teachers with hands-on science based activities that will relate to their classroom activities and bookwork.
2)  Provide students with access to the property and our staff’s knowledge for educational related projects or science related internships.

We Also Offer

General tours,  student mentoring (i.e. help with science projects),  assist with graduate field studies and can also create custom lesson plans for those instructors who cannot find what they need within the preplanned lessons.
